Under the bonnet of the Ford Fiesta:

The safety release catch for the boot can be found in the drivers foot well. Pull this until it clicks this will release the bonnet, you now need to lift and turn the remaining catch that is just under the front centre of the bonnet, you can now open the bonnet and secure it on the left hand side. The picture shows the position of everything you may need to locate on your test.  

Below: The brake fluid, this should be between min and max and the level can be seen on the left hand side.

Below: The coolant, again the level should be between min and max.

Below: The engine oil and dipstick. Take the dipstick out, wipe it then replace it before taking it out again, it should read between min and max. If it needs topping up take the cap off (as pictured) and then check the level again with the dipstick.

 Last but by no means least, The windscreen wash, running low on this will not effect the car but if your windscreen can't be cleared especially on winter days when the roads are dirtier you won't be able to see.  This car has a large reservoir beyond the funnel. When topped up to the max you can see the blue liquid. Make sure you keep it topped up regularly.
